Hyatt Place Virginia Beach / Oceanfront

Great staff in hotel! The valet parking staff took something out of my car!

We would stay here again. We loved the location and how easy it was to get on the beach. Parking was not the most convenient but worked for us. If you hope to access your car every day, you'd probably find it cumbersome.

We had a great time from Sun-Sat. The hotel was very clean and our room was clean as well. We were able to get towels by calling down to the front desk, as well as anything else we needed.

Other guests smoking dope on balcony, listening to loud music. Free breakfast was low quality food. Vibe here is pretty casual. Was hoping for more upscale experience for the price paid. Staff were pleasant. Valet parking mandatory for a fee. Might as well stay at the Hilton.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly beautiful view of the beach from our room. The breakfast bar was not what I expecting, but exceeded my expectations and the location was great able to walk to just about anywhere to get what we needed.

This was our second time staying at this property . Amazing just like the first time and the coffee is amazing

Place was nice. The breakfast is ok but eggs were not real eggs. Staff were all nice. Valet is a little steep per day. A nice location. Recommend advancing bar area into something that offer lunch and dinner options for guest for quick food. Overall nice place and great vacation

We had a room with oceanview and sitting on our balcony every night watching the ocean was amazing! The hotel is very dog friendly as we're many of the local restaurants and shops! Had an amazing time will come back for sure

We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place hotel. The room was very nice and the ocean front view was perfect. My only complaint would be that the sleep sofa mattress was very thin and not comfortable to sleep on. Other than that our stay was great. I would definitely stay again!!

At this rate, would be nice to have lotion among toiletries and a freezer inside the fridge. Despite of the sign, people were smoking weed on neighboring balconies.

Breakfast not good, everything was cold

The room was clean and larger than average. We had a pull out couch in addition to our 2 Queens, which was so helpful. With an almost adult son and daughter, we could all have our own sleeping space. The bathroom vanity could have been a little bigger but there was a nice shelf below for more space. The staff was universally nice, whether at the front desk, the valets, or the housekeepers. The full FREE breakfast was great. They even had healthier options every day like turkey bacon or chicken sausage, and fresh fruit. Only complaint would be about the pools. Specifically picked a place with both an outdoor and indoor pool. They were on the first level, so at the outdoor pool, the sun was sometimes blocked by buildings; an issue on cooler days. Rooftop pool would have been better, but they did have a lovely rooftop patio. The indoor pool was barely bigger than a hot tub, with a max capacity of three. But not overly crowded in early June, so still enjoyable. The ocean front balcony was great and hotel is right on the boardwalk. But FYI to newcomers to Va Beach: There are no shops on the boardwalk. We were used to the hustle and bustle of Ocean City, MD boardwalk, so if expecting that, you'll be disappointed. All in all a good stay!

Everything Did not like eggs served for breakfast

Cleanliness, nice sized rooms Would have been nice if they had a restaurant. Front desk staff was not friendly. Second day there, woman at front desk wouldn’t look to acknowledge I had a question and just wasn’t friendly- felt like I was disturbing her or she didn’t want to help.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Easy access to beach. Clean rooms, property well maintained. Tamara and Ty at breakfast were so accommodating at replenishing food. Just a suggestion. Just a suggestion perhaps posting a sign letting guests know to pick up after themselves. Again overall a fantastic experience

We had a great week at Hyatt Place, it was super clean, staff was super helpful and friendly, great location on the boardwalk and the free breakfasts were wonderful
