Sonesta ES Suites Anaheim Resort Area

The room set up, the staff, the access to the freeway. The laundry facilities with attached gym. The pancake machine was a hit with my teens. Fruit at breakfast would have made it better and old fashioned oats instead of instant.

We stayed there for tonight and the carpet was full of hair pet hair and also they never pick up our trash room service was horrible. One of my least favorite places I ever stayed at.

The breakfast was good. The timing was also good and I like the location. Your staff are exceptional, especially the receptionist. All the way from Nigeria, they made myself and my wife very comfortable and they were all supportive. Property should have a dedicated taxi for assisting guests other than the use of Uber or lyft. I had some initial difficulties in getting started because I do not have a US line.

It was relatively clean and spacious. Breakfast was terrible, staff seemed rushed and only gave us a sheet and a light blanket for the food out bed. When we asked for a full setting they gave us the same thing again. No pillows, so we had to share pillows from the main bed. I call r ahead of time to make sure the pool would be available since that is important to our family. They said it would absolutely be done by the time of our stay. When we got there we were informed that the pool was down and we could commute to another hotel to use their pool. This wasn’t a huge problem and I figured it would be a 5 minute walk or so since there were hotels all around. It was an 8 minute drive to the hotel that was providing the pool. If I had known this prior to checking in I would have cancelled and booked somewhere else.

Exceptional

The location, the room was decent. The quick response of staff, when we needed more towels. There was a bad smell in the lobby; coming from the grounds outside. Possibly the wood chips. Breakfast: no fresh fruits or hot tea…a lack of pastries and the oatmeal was watery. The staff did not keep everything stocked.

Nice place to stay with family

Pool is closed for renovation or repair or something, but they did have a different hotel 10 minutes away that allowed you to use their pool and sonesta ES would reimburse your parking fee for the other location with the pool. Breakfast was good AC was nice and cold.

Everything was perfect. Cleanliness

The room was very clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast served was hot and good. The pool and hot tub are under renovations, however The Anaheim Hotel was very beautiful and their pool and hot tub was perfect. You are initially charged for parking, however will be reimbursed if you present your receipt to the Sonesta staff.

Price was reasonable, I called ahead to figure out security deposits and extra fees. Deposit was 100 but failed to mention have to pay for parking daily bc no where in Cali is ever free even staying on property. Breakfast was decent. Always had hot hot water which was lovely for someone who likes blazing hot showers. Liked that it wasn’t too far of a drive to Disney about 10 mins drive. Pool was under construction whole week we were there which will continue til I believe July it will be back up. Wasn’t expecting parking fees daily charge Card to room deactivated and we had to walk all the through the front coming home late from Disney from parking in way back bc key wouldn’t work on any side door we tried then they told us it’s cause we went through the metal detector and their system is old so it messed up the card. (Didn’t figure that out til we had made it back to the room from carrying things) we just thought originally just key wouldn’t work on side doors due to how late it was. Only one trash can in the room which the one in the bathroom just had to use a bag for in the room. And also no ice makers on any floors so have to go to first floor and get a back of ice for your freezer. Nice having a full size fridge though.

Great place to stay, clean, friendly staff, affordable.

Room was great, breakfast was great, Staff was great. Only complaint was the fridge didn't really work. The freezer was about as cold as the fridge is. The pool was getting redone so unavailable to us and that's the main reason why we booked the hotel. We got reimbursed to go to a different hotels pool but it was a pain to pack everything up with 3 kids under 5.

The property and rooms were very clean. Breakfast was great many options for the family. Staff was very nice, helpful and quickly responded to any needs. The pool was out of service while we stayed here but we really wouldn't have had time to swim with how busy we were at Disneyland. Basically, just slept and Disneyland both days. The rooms were roomy and had a kitchen, with full size fridge, two burner stove, utensils, plates, bowls, and cups. The only downside is they only had 1 saucepan with a lid. This would have not been enough to cook a meal. Granted we didn't have time to cook but that was in our plans originally. Overall, the stay was excellent and the staff was excellent. Family friendly!

Big room, very clean. Very upset to find out the pool was not in order, completely drained. Kids were sad. Hotel didn't Mention this at all, no discount for the inconvenience either. AND we had to pay to park, crazy.

The staff are wonderful. The breakfast is plentiful with lots of choices. Beds were comfortable. We loved our family friendly stay. A few things were broken and missing from our room but they fixed it and replaced them quickly. Housekeeping was top notch, took care of all of our needs- even in the middle of the night. Even though it is an older hotel, we would stay there again with our kids because we felt so comfortable!

Honestly, I love this hotel. I love the staff ,the breakfast, the rooms ,it's always being cleaned. I see staff working mornings and throughout the day and at night maintaining the hotel. I love the security around the parking it feel safe. The only thing about my stay this time when I came was the pool was closed for renovations, but it's OK. You can still utilize the grill the gym and the rest of the amenities. This has been my go to hotel when I travel with family.
