Strong shower, nice view, great location on the good edge of town

Only stayed one night on our way thru town. The hotel is very clean and location in downtown is perfect to visit the many bars and restaurants that are close by. We plan on staying there again soon.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. Good food at the bar and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

We were disappointed that the pool was not in use at the time and I couldn't believe we were charged $25 extra per night just to park our car. If the room wasn't enough I got charged an extra $50 for our 2 night stay. Parking should have definitely been included in the hefty price that I paid. I paid extra for the breakfast but that was definitely worth it.

They need to get their pool fixed and the elevators to work all at the same time. It seems only one elevator will run at a time. No one was ever at the bar.

Really liked the hotel but I got double charged on some bar/restaurant expenses which now I have to sort out - rather annoying and has influenced my review.

Very nice stay here! Comfortable beds, clean room, and great location close to the highway. Nice breakfast!

The room was nice, the bed was comfortable but the AC was not working which made sleep impossible.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Renaissance. The staff wwere incredibly nice and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of linens in the bathroom. The location was fantastic with only about a 10 minute walk to plenty of options for bars and restaurants. I will definitely stay again the next time in Asheville.

While a little worse for wear, we had a pretty nice day. The location and staff are both excellent. The hotel needs an update and the rooms need to be brightened up. Super dark with poor lighting. Again, excellent staff!

Also, be ready to feel that you are a potential criminal since a damage deposit will be requested. If you like all of this, go ahead and book this place.

Hotel is great, skiing with staff. However, they’re elevators were horrible. Have to wait 5-10 min for 1 of 4 elevators to reach you. Waste of time, but otherwise great hotel

The property is in need of a facelift. There are clearly areas that need a bit of maintenance. But I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Clean rooms, large with lots of room. Staff was not stellar, but the restaurant crew was perfect. No issues.

Room was in need of repairs, shower spigot/faucet pulled away from the shower by about 1/2" allowing water to run back into the wall. Peeling paint and i dont think the fan was functional in the bathroom.
