Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Interstate 380 at 33rd Avenue by IHG

Room was very clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy and the shower was hot. Carpet could due to be replaced/cleaned. Lobby breakfast area was pretty small and with a full hotel it was hard to find a spot to sit. But for a work trip - it fit my needs perfectly.

The room we booked wasn’t available. We had to settle for something else. It was very loud. Thin walls. It was clean.

Pool table, foosball & dart game were broken. I had invited my granddaughter & daughter to have some fun after dinner.

The location was perfect. Quick trip to the event we were there for. The room was very musty, we had to keep the room cold to keep the mustiness at a minimum. The bed was extremely uncomfortable to the point that I wanted to sleep in the chair provided in the room. It took 20 minutes for someone to greet us at the counter to checkin. We even had to call the customer service line right there at the counter to ring the front desk phone to get someones attention. Even then after the phone ringing no one came for minutes after the call was placed. Once someone finally came to the counter it was not the warmest greeting. To us for the experience did not match the nearly $450.00 price tag.

Good points: The hotel is adjacent to the highway. The night clerk was polite and helpful. Bad points: just about everything else. The hotel is poorly maintained and the construction leads to a ton of noise at night. There is free breakfast, but not enough food or seats in the lobby for even a portion of the hotel. Things like hot water in the shower and an alarm clock that can be turned off or even unplugged are not feasible here. You will hear every door that closes in your wing of the hotel. It is overall much less hospitable and restful than the listing presents. The relatively high scores for ths hotel are not representative of its actual product.
