Hyatt Regency Cincinnati

Buffet breakfast was included during our stay. Instead of walking in to the restaurant, we were directed to the front desk to have them give the okay for our included breakfast. Breakfast itself was okay, but we had to wait for a server to bring us utensils. By then, the breakfast was cold. I can only recommend to make this breakfast process less confusing, like show your room key to get access to breakfast. All in all, we went from Wow the moment we walked in, to Meh the moment we walked out. Great staff, very clean, fantastic location, but we expected more for the price.

The room was not very clean upon arrival. The chair had visible dirt on it, the shower was not clean, and the floor had noticeable stains. The lotion provided in the bathroom was nearly empty when we checked in.the photo of the lotion provided was taken after I tried to get some out. We also ate at the restaurant, and my daughter’s drink had black particles floating in it, which was very concerning. As a parent, I was also disappointed that the menu was not very kid-friendly and offered very few options that would appeal to children. The pool area was another major disappointment. The water appeared dirty, and there was hair all over the place, making it feel unsanitary and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, we were told at check-in that breakfast was available at “the market” in the mornings. This information was incorrect. Breakfast was only available in the restaurant, was not complimentary, and the directions provided were misleading. Finally, I never received the $50 deposit that was supposed to be refunded. I left the room in good condition and did not cause any damage or leave an excessive mess. Overall, this hotel was overpriced and failed to meet even basic cleanliness and customer service expectations. For the amount charged, I expected a much cleaner facility, better communication, and a more enjoyable experience. I would not choose to stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and we didn't experience any issues during our stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Great place to stay

The room was clean and check-in was smooth. It is in a great location. Staff is very friendly.

Clean room, helpful staff. Would have definitely appreciated the option to drop our bags off and then go park. Instead, we had to walk 15 blocks with 2 kids and all of our belongings.

Breakfast was a disappointment. Had to ask for coffee, milk and water. Too many children just going and doing whatever they pleased. Had to continually clear table of dishes myself for fresh selections. Not a pleasant atmosphere for dining. Dark and cold.

It was a wonderful stay. So close and convenient to so many great places to eat and explore. I love the park across the street.

Great room and staff

Staff were phenomenal! Amenities were very convenient. I felt like the room was NOT $450 per night room or view. Room was kind of run down with some things broken and the vinyl peeling of the headboard. Room was very small.

Clean rooms and nice market.

Staff were friendly, especially Scott at the bar. Hotel was clean and easy to navigate. Beds were comfortable & the rooms were a good size. In a great spot for walking to places. Would stay there again & recommend to others.

Very nice staff and clean rooms, the 24/7 market is super nice also!

The staff was great! Our stay was nice as far as the walk to the Reds stadium and 5th street is really nice for activities.
