Howard Johnson by Wyndham Columbus State Fairgrounds I-71

Very recently acquired by Howard Johnson. Does not look like photos. Dumpsters on property for renovation. Rooms are not clean. Several patrons were asking for refunds. Security was called.

This place was a dump the doors need to be shut down. Catfood on the ripped- up floor and a baggy that had white powdery substance in it laying under the bed. I couldn’t stay!!

They doing renovations so expect most thing to be closed in the hotel

Bathtub was filthy- did not shower because would have been more dirty after showering

We got there very light at night and were immediately told by someone else there were roaches. We had traveled a long way so we decided to try it and the room had very obviously not been cleaned between the last users and us despite me having reserved the room last Monday (we stayed Friday) . We chose to sleep on top of the covers because we were exhausted. The next morning we went down for breakfast just to learn it had been closed for a while. I also requested a room service to get fresh towels and sheets. The towels took well over 2 hours and the sheets occurred sometime in the day. The name on the hotel is also Norwood Suites which confused us greatly.

I have never seen a place so dirty. I love to travel travel on this days is not normal in the pictures. There are no amenities there’s no Gym there’s no breakfast. I saw a door with the pool sign that says that it’s closed for maintenance. They have couches the debris of construction everywhere. It is carpeted and those smell is just unbearable. All they do is give you a key to a dirty room. I was booked for two days, they come to my door the a day early to tell me to check out. Unbelievable. I showed them my reservation and they said ok. their bathroom drain is completely blocked as well as sink. The floor is dirty and the AC unit is so dirty inside of this smell awful. Because I already did check before I saw the condition of inside, I was not able to get a refund. I will never stay in such dump.

There was feces on the wall. Good staff though! Save your sanity and stay elsewhere.

They don’t tell you they are remodeling!! Aweful property! Won’t ever stay ever!

Nothing Everything

The place is skanky and run down. Ripped carpet, dirty walls, the halls smell like weed and sweat. But… the room (though shabby and worn out) was relatively clean and I slept well.

Worst hotel I’ve been in

Awful. I would not stay here again if my life depended on it.

Old lamp and lamp shades, mattresses, pulled carpets and trash throughout all the hallways. No bath towels, tissues, toilet paper or shampoo/conditioner upon arrival to room. People cussing and kids crying throughout. Online says breakfast is included but hotel only has coffee. Flies flying all around the lobby. Muggy. Did not stay here. Canceled my reservation. If you care about your wellbeing and your family I would NOT STAY HERE EVER!

What I saw on the advertisement is not what was on the ground

The whole thing needs to be demolished and built again.

BED BUGS, trash and everything all over the place absolutely disgusting

Booked two rooms, when I arrived only one was available. Took the one room and smelled really bad, things were broken and not working. Was not clean either. Don’t recommend the stay.
