Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Des Moines Airport

I didn’t like that there was no water bottle in the room.

Location to airport Room was dated, old carpet on room floors and hallways and even elevator. Didn’t remove my shoes in the room.

Clean and easy to find Not a thing

My mother & I stayed here to catch an early flight out the next morning and we had a great experience. Staff was incredibly friendly and the room & beds were very comfortable. When we fly Des Moines next we will be staying at the Fairfield Inn.

Nice and clean

That there are no pets allowed. I have severe allergies to animals. It was a little far from our intended destination.

It doesn’t allow pets. I have allergies and I can’t stay where pets have been in the room. It is a little far from I-80.

A clean and safe place to stay in Des Moines, especially by the airport. They also offer a park and stay deal, for those who need to fly out but leave their car somewhere. The staff were extremely kind, but we didn't have a pleasant experience with the lady running the breakfast in the morning. She could have been tired, but was short with us trying to make a waffle. The rooms are outdated, but in good condition for the most part. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area, which was also very clean and well maintained. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and had many options for a hotel breakfast.

An older hotel that is probably due for a refresh. Easy to get to, sufficient parking. Checkin was good, staff was friendly. A small snack shop at the entrance. Plenty of seating to sit and visit with friends. The pool is average sized and heated enough to keep the chill off. The rooms are large, but only a small refrigerator and no microwave. Plenty of lights, but the bulbs were dim. TV had a bunch of channels, including HBO, which is unusual now. Also supports streaming services. The bathroom was large, but the shower valve whined the whole time you showered. HVAC kept the room warm/cool as needed and wasn't too loud. Breakfast in the morning was fine, the usual options and well maintained.

Hotel was clean and check in was easy. The breakfast had a lot of great options.

Everything was very clean. The pool and hot tub area was nice. Good breakfast included. Very convenient to the airport.
