The property is beautiful, rooms were clean, and the staff were great! Good location. Drink prices in the bar were very reasonable as well. The only ding was the food at the restaurant - it was not the best. I would definitely stay again if ever in Dubuque, just maybe look elsewhere to have dinner and breakfast.

We like old hotels and the Julian is elegant. . The staff was very helpful. We missed not having coffee offered in the lobby. We missed not having 2 chairs in the room but they brought another when we requested it. Temperature in the room was difficult to control. Overall stay was pleasant.

This facility is very historic and neat, they could use some updated chairs in the rooms. Bed was very comfy!

This is the fourth time we have stayed at the Julian. The staff is always helpful and the amenities are fabulous. I like the fact that they have a rooftop bar as well. I think some of the furniture in the suites could use a little updating, but everything else was great.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at the Julian while we were in Dubuque. It’s a beautiful well-maintained, older hotel. The amenities are fabulous. If they was anything that I would want to be different, it would be that the furniture in the hotel rooms was updated/cleaned. The couch and the chair in our suite looked a little old and worn out.
