Nice staff. Quite area would stay there again

The staff was very helpful when we heard a dog barking next door to us as soon as we walked into our room. They had apparently snuck him in-on that floor. The staff made them move to the appropriate floor. The condition of the hotel fell short. Dirty baseboards throughout the property, a very dirty hair dryer with dirty smudges all on the handle, stains all over the elevator inside, floors not swept and stained carpet in the corridors. The chair in our room was covered with stains and although the towels and sheets were clean ..? hopefully! they smelled off! Like maybe food smell had settled on them! Idk they just didn’t smell clean but they looked white and clean! I used a clean shirt over top of a pillow to sleep on! The pillow smelled sweaty and definitely needed to be thoroughly cleaned or replaced! We slept good…the mattress was comfy! And the breakfast was ok. But, all in all I wouldn’t recommend this property or ever stay there again.

Staffs was very nice and the rooms was very clean. Breakfast was good and that area was clean too.

Hotel was not what I expected. We ended up not staying over. rather drive 2 hours home after a day at carowinds then stay. There were people hanging out at the pool past 11. Smoking and noisy. Reaches everywhere. Wouldn't dare to walk on the floor without shoes on.

The bathroom sink in my room was clogged and draining very slowly. I had to use the bathtub faucet to wash up. The pillows on one of the beds did not smell clean and had a scent of perfume and I could not use them. I would have requested a different room if I had booked more than one night.

For the location and price you really can’t beat it. Me and my 11 year old daughter stayed there and we were more than happy with the experience. The breakfast is really good too and has more than I thought it would! Definitely will be back to stay again!

My only complaint is that I had paid in full upfront on the website but at check-in they asked me to scan my card and they were charging me $270 I asked what is this? They said what I paid was only to hold the room. I showed receipt and conformation number and insisted that I have already paid and after a few minutes they said I don’t owe anything. It could have been an honest mistake but it seemed fishy.

The only issue was that I was charged an additional service tax at check-in/check-out, which I was not expecting since my reservation had already been prepaid. This charge was not clearly mentioned during the booking process. Better transparency regarding any additional fees would improve the guest experience. Overall, it was a good stay, and I would consider staying here again.

one room bedside lights and microwave did not work, plus big roaches. second room telephone and wall lamp did not work.

Great spot to stay in on the budget. Very neat and clean although the room had a very dated look. In my room, the microwave looked like something exploded in it and they couldn’t clean it out and the bathroom needed a bit of updating. But overall, the stay was very comfortable. The lights need to be replaced as one of the lamps didn’t work at all. The bed on the other hand was extremely comfortable pillows, very comfortable so I was able to get good sleep. The hotel‘s location was excellent. It’s in the middle of everything and directly walking distance across from Carowinds amusement park.

Is a straight place to stay for the price and Carowinds right across the street

Everything was great! From check in to check out, cleanliness was top tier. No complaints about anything!

I’m giving this one star because I booked through Expedia… Paid through Expedia… And they still charged me five dollars when I checked into the hotel… (This was not disclosed and I have never had to pay extra at a hotel once I’ve already paid through a third-party website!) management – Please update your policy or you may get unhappy customers… There’s no point in making unhappy customers over trying to grift five dollars per booking.
