Quality Inn Fort Mill near Carowinds Blvd.

Had an issue with checking in, front desk staff Matt I think his name was, was excellent in working with the third-party hotel company and getting everything resolved. Pretty quiet for the location. Water was hot. A few areas that need to be worked on but overall had a good stay.

Rooms were clean and breakfast was good.

There was no working elevator onsite and which made it difficult for my disability. The room smelled very bad and there were roaches, electrical tape on cable outlets stains on the walls, bedding, sheets, towels, in the refrigerator on the office table etc. The booking website (hotel.com) did not disclose there was no elevator. The vending/icemachines did not work. Overall this was just a horrible experience. Very disturbed.

Booked this room basically for the pool and breakfast. Breakfast was good. Pool was closed no reason given. Water in pool ws green.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and without any problems. Breakfast was very good and had a good variety of items. Fairly good all around and fair price with a few maintenance cosmetic issues on property but room was clean and bathroom / shower was looking upgraded and clean as well. Parking was sometimes difficult because the slots are small and there were large pickup trucks that were taking up two spaces.

My room smelled like old moldy water but I was so tired I stayed in and just got used to it. I just slept but soon as the morning came I left so fast. Didn’t even shower.

It was better than I expected it to be. I would stay again!

Was not clean. Hair all in tub, hanger was just laying on top rack, soap plastic packaging was sitting on the side of tub.

the place was decent. I didn't expect much for $60/night so from that standpoint it met my needs and expectations

Great location next to carowinds exactly what i was looking for. Perfect for overnight stay and a great value. Staff were nice and accommodating and they had a great breakfast. Light fixture in bathroom had dirt in it. Dirt spots on ceiling in the bathroom. Stain on chair and bed spread. Chair was broken.

Room was old and run down. Rust on all the bathroom fixtures. Paint peeling and dropping from the ceiling. Plenty of parking. Internet was basically nonexistent. Front desk staff, especially Matt, was friendly. Towels were dirty. I don't think they had been replaced from previous occupant.

room was unclean. Mystery substances staining walls and others' hairs in the sheets, generally felt unsafe/unsavory. Would avoid.

The room was clean, property is up to date, clean newer carpet and bedding, fridge, coffee maker and refrigerator was all good working condition. We stayed one night on our way to Florida and one night in our way back home, the property is good to stay with kids, staff is nice, breakfast is your regular waffles, eggs, muffins, cereal, coffee and toast, everything was clean and well kept, they have plenty parking areas, and it feels safe when we arrived (very late at night) I will definitely stop by again when we are back to Florida next year.
