It was located conveniently , and I enjoyed the extra amenities. I got charged for an extra bed, that I did not have brought to my room. I call to let them know but I still see the charge in my account. They already refunded me my deposit. But no one has called me back about the extra charge.

Over $100 for one night. When I checked in I was told I would not be charged by the lady at the front desk since my pet is a behavioral/emotional support dog and had my certificate. She was nice. The online web-site said pet friendly. We agreed to stay. I learned the next morning the pet friendly was only for certain rooms and was very misleading on the web-site. But the manager the next morning was not even people friendly ! And stole my money by charging my card without my approval. She said my support dog should be keep with me. But they don’t allow dogs at the water park ! She made us move to a very old part of the facility to better accommodate my dog. But I had to walk my 63 year old disabled body up and down stairs now to take my dog out where the new facility had grass. The room was more like a motel 6 with uncomfortable beds & pillows. The A/c rattled all night and I could not sleep. I did only have to squish one bug. I paid for 1 room for my daughter & kids for 2 nights in their newer better facility, plus a room for myself totaling over $600 then I was made to leave decent room along with $115 pet fee and then needed to stay an additional night in town for another $110 in a less than desirable room. I could’ve stayed at the Marriott courtyard with a Hot Tub for the same price, but I’d already been charged the ridiculous pet fee here. She made me very distressed ! It was my worse $800 hotel experience in Galveston ever !

Easy to get too.

Everything was great other than the AC not working very good

Saw a couple of rodents running around on the property. I understand the price is the price. I just wish it was more affordable. It is hard to justify $500 to stay a weekend. That is why we stayed only one night.

The location was great and the putt putt was a nice touch. We did enjoy getting to play a couple rounds. The pool closed at 8pm not 10pm like most and was told it changes during Summer time (not June 9-12 when we stayed). That was a bummer for my daughter that really wanted to swim later. The rooms were clean but upon check in the door handle on the inside came off, there was no knob on the lamp and the fridge was hot. Also extremely low water pressure when flushing the toilet or taking a shower. I also noticed that several electrical sockets did not work or would not hold our devises without them easily falling out. I reserved 2 rooms and both had these issues along with flys, gnats and in the other room they said they had a roach. Breakfast is extremely slim pickings, cereal, muffins and pan cakes, as well as juice and coffee. The morning of check out I went to the lobby to request a couple more wash clothes and they were going to send the housekeeping by to give us some, but around 830 or 9am she arrived only to show me a clip board saying out for my room # and I told her i know check out is around 11am but we requested 2 wash clothes and she walked off. A few minutes later she did not return since she started working on another room so my daughter went to ask and she told her No English so we went without wash clothes, this was addressed at the front desk upon check out and he apologized and said one of them does speak English.

I would say the location was great as it was close to the seawall and cruise terminal. They only charged $20 for cruise parking for the week, which was very nice and affordable. The cruises parking is provided with a one-night stay. They recommended a great shuttle service for us to travel to the port and that worked out wonderfully. The room was okay but we found several bugs/ants in the room. The bed was not too comfortable and small for two people to sleep on. The breakfast was not extremely fresh tasting and was not much to choose from.

Walked all the way to room with all his stuff and room key was never activated. He did not have it by a phone or magnet of any kind. The elevator was disgusting. Not worth the price.

Nice clean place.
