The room , amenities and overall experience are why we will keep coming back again and again. We used to stay close to the seawall and Jamaica beach , but we were missing out. Stay here and you will see. There are no substitutes.

We stayed three nights and the pool wasn’t cleaned daily. That meant that by Saturday evening, the pool was so dirty - wads of hair (how?!), dead bugs, discarded straws, bandaids. It was gross. That said, we loved the swim-up bar, and the food was better than you’d expect. The rooms were quiet and the high ceilings in the second floor rooms were really nice. The staff were universally helpful and friendly. A fine stay for younger families with kids <7. Not recommended for couples or families with older kids/teens.

A cheer camp was being hosted there. We had a lot of the campers in our hallway. They were up late at night into the early morning slamming doors and being very loud.

Had awesome time with the family. Very family oriented location. Highly recommended

Overall good experience. Best rate through Expedia. The room was clean the latch lock on the door was a little old and should be replaced as it gave us some problems with securing the door. Not a deal breaker just noting. Beds were comfortable. Nice staff. Room service was a bit pricey but the food was good. Buffet was also an option for a lower price however we needed to have breakfast early at 6:30am because we had a full day plan.

There were obvious drainage problems. Sink and tub wouldn't drain.

We stayed here Saturday June 13th. Unfortunately there is a “culture “ of entitlement developing at this particular location. The bar and wait staff on the 9th floor lounge and the main floor bar treat the patrons with blatant disregard. We arrived late in the evening around 9:15 and went to the 9th floor lounge around 9:30 and were told they closed in 15 minutes so no food service. Then we went to the main floor bar where we learned there is no wait staff, which is fine but where to stand at the bar to get service was confusing…. Mostly because the two girls behind the bar do not make eye contact with the patrons…. Pathetic. Such a classy joint shouldn’t require a “hey you!” To make an order. When I returned to order a second beer I was told that I needed to bring my original beer glass back because they didn’t have anymore. There weren’t 20 people in the entire place… and that number is generous. Horrible training and shame on the GM. This is the first time I ever left a bad review in 30 years of traveling. Shame on you. Do better

I’m my boyfriend and I loved our stay here. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I also like how close we were to Schlitterbahn and how we got discounted prices to the different attractions at Moody gardens. We will definitely be coming back.

The property was mostly clean. The bathroom in our room seemed recently remodeled and had a modern style which I liked. The mattress though, was a king size bed that felt old and lumpy. I hope they are replaced soon! The outdoor pool was nice and big suited for kids and adults with a pool bar. This property also has an indoor pool. We had the breakfast buffet in the hotel cafe, it had an omelette and waffle station, those two were delicious. We also purchased tickets to palm beach moody gardens which is conveniently located next door! Very close walking distance. Overall, the place was okay for me and it met my 5 year old's expectations so I was happy about that.

The rooms were very clean and spacious in the pool was absolutely amazing. Great swim at bar and was warm at night so perfect temperature all throughout the day.

Such a friendly staff! Beds were comfortable, room AC was amazing for the Texas heat.
