I never got to check in because they said that booking was cut off 12/18 …. And booking.com took my money and the property did not refund me ! But

Nothing Smelled bad, the staff couldn’t find my reservation and kept sending to a hotel that didn’t exist

It was cheap and they had last minute availability. That’s where the positives end however. The room was dingy and had roaches. I didn’t even feel comfortable sleeping there so I just checked out the same night. They’re non refundable so that was money down the drain. Oh whale you live and you learn.

What this was advertised was not at all what it was. This was a pay by the hour prostitution hotel. No tv (why would there be?), no microwave, no fridge..NOTHING. Extremely dirty (see pics)…bugs, stained sheets, dirty used toilet etc. Extremely dangerous area of Chicago. Hotels.com should never offer this as a place to stay for unsuspecting travelers like us who are doing a cross country trip and needed a good place to sleep. All we did was go in, check around and pull back the sheets and the owner yelled at us that we “used the room” because it was a pay by the hour sex sh*t show (and pulling back the sheets looked like we “used it”). And even if I wanted to ever use a sex hotel it wouldn’t be this one. Nothing good or safe or clean about this place at all. I was charged $250 for nothing. AND i left my fave flannel there so that sucks (not that i would ever want to wear it again after it touched that bed). It was so bad that i actually threw up outside…and im not kidding. Worst ever. Hotels.com should be ashamed and I’ll be demanding my money back. I wish i could add more pics.

It’s a horrible nasty place to stay they blankets & sheets and towels everything in the room was dirty used the floor was very dirty my feet got black the bathroom was old fashion and not clean it was all dirty stain on molds the bed was very uncomfortable pillows where nasty dirty of sperm and stain of salava I don’t recommend this motel! There don’t wash the cloths and sheets blankets

I had a stay at Hillside Manor for 2 nights. The room was not what the website portrayed. The sink was clogged. The toilet seat was broken. The room had no soap shampoo or lotion. The towels had hair on them. The lobby had no ice to offer the guests. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Really dirty

The bathroom shower and sink weren't properly cleaned. I purchased bath and shower cleaner and simply sprayed the shower walls, tub and sink and they became 2 shades brighter then they initially were, and I never wiped the surfaces to get those results.

Cleanliness. We actually had to leave after one night due to an emergency back home and they refused a refund

I pictured it to be nicer and better quality motel. The tv in my room didn’t work at first.

Hotel towels.

The absolute worst experience and waste of my time. I booked the room for 65.53 and went to checkin and the owner demanded 10 more dollars from me which I didn't have so he canceled my room without my consent. I was tired and furious by this point. Then I spend around 2 hours on hold with Hotels.com and y'all reassured me that you had booked another room for me and paid for it. So I go to the Motel 6 in Villa Park and tried to check in and the rude clerk tried to run my card and it declined. Told me to leave the premises S he was making fun of me for being broke. Very humiliating and huge waste of time. Needless to say, I never slept in a room and haven't received a credit for my initial purchase. I'm extremely pissed off. And will be leaving horrible reviews for all people involved.

I had to switch rooms a couple of times. Because the outlet wouldn't work, the TV remote wouldn't work. I did not give my deposit back for a remote. The towels were not the best.
