Hotel Sheldon

I had to ask the front desk to remind them it was 10pm. Also you can hear all of the conversations happening at the front desk. Another experience where it felt like we got the hotels.com room. It would have been nice to sleep in or enjoy a nap in the room. We did appreciate the umbrella and chairs for the beach.

The cleaning solutions used on the bedroom floor were nauseating There was nos closet space for hanging and dresser droors There was no space in the bathroom to store anything

Great location and the staff was amazing. Book the ocean view and thank me later. Lots of dining and drink options extremely close.

We've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years. It had begun to be pretty run down, but last year it was obvious that renovations had commenced (new owners I think). The improvements have made a difference. The rooms are, however, small, and there is no changing that. It's a great location, closest to the beach of any I've experienced.

We were pleasantly surprised with the Hotel Sheldon. It’s a great option for Hollywood Beach if not expecting luxury. They provide chairs, umbrella and towels. Our room faced the City and was quiet at night. We would definitely return.

Location outstanding

It was right across from the beach and our room came with beach towels and chairs and the AC worked well. There were plenty of restaurants nearby as well as stores for incidentals. The room was a bit DIY looking and didn't match the level of style and niceness as the lobby. The bathroom shower handle kept coming off and the bathroom was a tad bit grubby. The bed sheets were pilled and uncomfortable to sleep on.

This hotel is located right on the boardwalk. Excellent location. The rooms were nice and clean and fully stocked.

The location is great right on the boardwalk but I was disappointed in what I got for the price. First of all, I had to pay an unexpected $100 extra for 3 days of parking. And for the price of this hotel I was disappointed there was no breakfast or on-site pool offered. They did have an umbrella and chairs for us to use which was nice. Overall, I feel the room was advertised to be much nicer than it was. When I went to go take a shower after checking in, there was a hair in my shower-not mine. Proof they did not thoroughly clean the room. Overall I was a bit disappointed in my experience at Hotel Sheldon and I don’t think I would go back and book with them again.

Right on the beach. Clean hotel and rooms. It was a nice stay.

The location of this property was a dream! We awoke to a beautiful palm tree and beach right outside our window. Highly recommend staying here- great staff, super clean, and a wonderful stay.
