Four Points by Sheraton Houston Hobby Airport

Pool, parking, and cleaning staff were all great. Unfortunately, both rooms we stayed in had portable A/C units that did not cool the rooms properly. We were moved to a different room, but experienced the same issue again. We ended up checking out early and did not even ask for a refund. Very disappointing experience overall.

I wasn’t thrilled with the property. I only stayed one night well, I was preparing to go to the airport. The location was great for that. The free shuttle was very convenient and fast and the driver was friendly. My room just didn’t seem put together very well. It was old and I found a used wash rag in my shower. The toilet handle was broken. There was just a few little incidentals like one packet of shampoo and conditioner. The staff was very friendly though. I do not think I would go there again.

Room 2: Not a king bed < 6' 4" wide; no dresser or table in bedroom; dark; exposed metal vinyl trim around carpet; loud noise when sitting on bed; vinyl flooring not glued down (applies to the "deluxe part of the accommodation" also; closet door in entry would not latch when closed; security device on entry door didn't line up properly (both rooms); threshold to bathroom so thick that the door could not easily be closed (and required significant force to open if successful); 5 attempts pressing guest services button on phone - rang several times and sounded like someone lifted the receiver and hung up each time; blow dryer intake clogged with dust and hair (fire hazard) and the safety device/plug was physically cracked open (an actual life threatening hazard) never use by me and requests to have it replaced went unanswered; a portable air conditioner as permanently installed - only a cosmetic issue until it shut down with and error code. Desk clerk's first day + supervisor not available. Instead of attending meetings, I checked out of my room at midnight and drove for 5 hours is a severe thunderstorm to get home. I am relieved that my guest did not make the trip! Good luck if you stay here!

Very poor

Everything was great! We were allowed to check in early after having a bad experience at a different hotel. Front desk staff (sorry didn’t catch her name), was great, room clean, and spacious. My only suggestion would be to offer a 24/7 shuttle service to Hobby.

My original booking request was for 2 double queen beds. I was checked in 21Mar at 0300, there was half eaten chic fil a on the bed, beds were not made, and bathroom toilet had poop in it. I went back to let the agent know that the room was dirty and he moved me to another room under the guise that it was an upgrade (king suite with a pull out couch bed). The pullout bed is non-existent. I have been sleeping on the couch NOT pull out bed. I let another agent know early in the morning (21Mar around 0730) so that I could be switched to my originally booked room and she was amiable, and she said to come back around 2. She was no longer on duty and I had to explain to a 3rd agent. This agent also informed me that the agent from night one, charged me even though he wasn’t supposed to, as I had already paid in full online and was only supposed to pay the incidentals fee. I haven’t been assigned a double room as they are all booked (including the original dirty double room I was given) which I was told I would be moved to. This has been a frustrating experience all the way around. In order to get a double room, which I already paid for, I am being told that I will have to book at the sister hotel for an additional fee. I contacted their customer relations rep on 22Mar via email and I haven’t heard anything back from him.

Internet was free. Airport shuttle was a nice convenience. The phone in the room was not working and the coffee pot was in poor condition

Other than that, I would stay again.

Stay away from this property. Booked months in advance and pre-paid. When I arrived (late, at 10 pm on a Friday) they had no room for me. The fat girls working the desk were of no help and only shrugged their shoulders.

Staff was courteous, room is great but there was no hot water for a morning shower prior to my doctors appointment

The staff was friendly. Room was clean. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. VERY comfortable. I also appreciated the airport shuttle. Would stay here again.

Staff was very accommodating. Rooms seemed to be under repair, had to listen to leaking toilet all night, but had already been moved twice.

We arrive after midnight but within check-in hours and our room could not be found. After the desk clerk texted someone on what to do she located our reservation and gave us a key, we get to the room and someone was in the room. We had to go back to resolve the issue again and get assigned another room. After a long day of travel the last thing you want to do is play "find a room" when you booked and paid for it weeks ago.

Air conditioner was just fine, a sage place to stay.
