The fee caught me off guard but otherwise, the hotel was clean and well maintained. Housekeepers are always on deck

Overall I enjoyed the stay. You get what you pay for so for a value hotel it wasn’t horrible. Only negatives are, There is an additional $25 service charge per day that is not mentioned when you book also I stayed in Building 2 on the 3rd floor and the curtains in the hallway window had fallen half way down.

Great stay close to everything

Location and breakfast Pool and fitness center

Location to conference. Older hotel. Rate was high. I arrived late to check in, 11:20pm and was gone by 8 am. Only one person was checking in. The line to check in took almost 38 minutes. HVAC was like a tractor. So did not get much sleep at all.

The hotel is dated. Rooms were decent. There is a hidden charge of about $25 per day for this resort that is not clear while booking

What bothers me was that the floors and carpets in the room are quite dirty. Probably have not been cleaned in many years. That includes the lounge chair in the room. Visibly soiled. The beds were soft, but I got a good nights sleep. When I checked in, they took a deposit and have fun checking out. There was a $25 "SERVICE" fee, which also had tax on top of it. This is not to my knowledge on the reservation Expedia, the price for tax the $25 added an extra 40% to the hotel room + taxes. They claim it pays for the parking and other services. (but apparently not tile steam cleaners or carpet cleaners.) There was a breakfast that was fairly comprehensive. But not enough to justify these resort fees that every Florida hotel seems to be adding to booster revenue. While the price look good - It was a false economy. I will go back to staying at Fairfield Inn or other surrounding hotels without extra fees. I spent over 20 years traveling four days a week and I am quite experienced at staying overnight at hotels.
