I’ve stayed here a few times over the years and it’s a brilliant location! Bathrooms need an upgrade but it’s clean and does the job if it’s just for you sleeping and getting a wash!

The location and the cleanliness Very noisy. Very close to the street and people come and go and all times of the night without much respect for people who are sleeping. Its in a party part of town

Pretty basic hotel, not really any amenities. Clean room but fairly small. After I checked in I noticed there was no remote for the TV for my room, which was kind of a bummer. Thankfully I was there for work and didnt really have time to watch anyway. Pretty loud in both the hallway of the floors and from noise coming through the window. Not the nicest area either, though in walking distance to quite a bit. While it was OK i most likely wouldn't stay again for my next visit.

The room was fine, but the TV was not functional, and I reported the issue to Justin who tried to be helpful.

Location, value, clean rooms. Bathroom needs renovation.

The location is great. It’s close and walkable to many places like Soho, whole foods, many restaurants, etc. The AC worked great. The only thing is two out of the three plugs in our room barely worked. The TV was there but couldn’t turn on. Just FYI, you will have to pay around $16/night for amenity fees tht u can’t deny. If u care about saving money and having access to everywhere, it’s okay but it’s def not luxury.

Great for price and location.

Air conditioning didn’t work well and it wasn’t even that hot out but the room felt muggy and uncomfortable.

A review from an anxious 27 year old girly staying on her own. Unsurprisingly the photos were slightly misleading, and it took some adjusting, but it ended up working out well. I was put in a room in what they called the basement. It’s not as scary as it sounds, but it is below street level so you wouldn’t want the blinds up as people could see in. The windows were very small anyway and most of the space was taken up by the air conditioning unit, so no natural light. It was also right by the street so there was some noise. You are in a busy part of New York though so I’m not sure this would’ve been too different on another floor. The air conditioning was actually what I found to be the loudest. Earplugs, an eye mask and a podcast were a godsend at night. I would’ve struggled without them, and they made me feel safe and cosy. I was a little nervous on the first night but by the second night I was totally fine and learned to love my little basement room. The woman at the front desk offered to move me the next day to a higher floor but I decided not to as I didn’t want to spend my time moving. The shower wasn’t great, it was six small single jets. I’m not sure if my room was generally worse than the others due to it being in the basement, but it wasn’t like the pictures. I managed to wash my hair so it was okay. It did take 10 minutes to warm up so I got into the habit of letting it run for a while. There was only one plug in my room which wasn’t near the mirror so I recommend bringing a long extension lead. There was a long mirror, wardrobe with some hangers and mirror in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of towels and there were bedside lamps so the lighting was nice. Safety wise I felt safe. There were two locks on the door and always someone at reception. They also had a locked cupboard to store your cases around check in times. They had a free water and coffee machine in the little lounge area. The wifi worked well.

Best location in NY -- the heart of downtown. The room was beautiful, the water was warm, even hot if needed. Our room was on the 5th floor. AC worked great. Some noise on Saturday night at 2 am and 4 am -- when the bars close, it sounded like the police were on hand to help the college students keep control of themselves. The people who staffed the front desk were not open to questions, however the breakfast staff and the room attendants were helpful. Breakfast was just fine -- hot coffee, hot chocolate.

free coffee and hot water, location the hotel staff is very rude and lacks respect for customers. Not helpful for anything. Room itself was horrible. Too much traffic noise, cant sleep, the heater in the toilet dosent work, noises from the neighbours, there was no housekeeping services provided(it was on request) and the automatic gate was not opening and no one was answering the bell. Hopeless really.

This was a good stay for overnight for work. It was not a luxury hotel or room by any means but it was comfortable for a business overnight stay.

The paint on the tub was chipping off.
