Good hotel. Experienced staff. While room was clean, the shower gel dispenser in the shower was empty. It’s the little things that make the difference between a 4 and 5 star rating.

The daily continental breakfast is over $30 but only covered $20 from the resort fee. it is consistently good and service is excellent

Great location at the corner of 43rd street and 8th avenue. Location is close to everything with several subway stops surrounding it. Access to the hotel is also available from 42nd street through the Regal movie theatre, right next to five below. The properly also provides a $20 bar credit and access to one local event a day during your stay (part of your daily facility fee that is lost if not used because it will be charged whether used or not). I would stay at this hotel again if wanting to be in the Times Square area of New York.

Check in was fast and the room was clean. We arrived before official check in time and our room was ready. Nice view of the river. The mandatory 45 dollar destination fee is annoying. At over 500 per night including taxes, no extra fees should be added. I thought NYC was cracking down on bogus added fees at hotels, but Westin is still charging this.

Loved the location, friendliness of staff, room amenities, and overall all aesthetic of the hotel. 10 out of 10, Geri, the Concierge, was outstanding. He handwrote directions every where for us as we are map-challenged. Lol...
