Staff was great but hotel could use some upkeep

Friendly and helpful staff. Great view, and a lot of things to do nearby. Would be nice to have some updated streaming TVs but we spent most of our days out and about.

The whole experience

The onsite dinning/food options are very limited and nothing was available for late hours, after dinner. The Market store closed at 10:00AM so the quick food and coffee wasn’t available after that. This got challenging as we got up early for marina activities then had to leave to go find simple breakfast options. No vending machines for drinks or ice machine. Parking was expensive and valet or self parking was the same. $55 plus tip a day. There were times the self park lot closer to the room was full so we had to valet at the front entrance and haul our stuff to our room which wasn’t terrible but not convenient. This was understandable except the lot is also open to marina guests even though it’s the hotels. One truck and boat trailer took up eight spots. Mission bay was great and close to all the main attractions. I would definitely stay in the area again but might look for other places to stay.

Our very expensive suite was beautiful. The staff were friendly. A big shout out for maintenance man, LaBron! However, the staff knew we experienced a couple of issues and offered no compensation for our inconveniences. Day one, after traveling several hours and in desperate need of sleep, our room had a very strong vibration that went on for a couple of hours. Finally, after calling for assistance, they discover a broken ice machine down the hall causing the problem. Next day, the hot water boiler in the tower failed, so ice cold showers. Day 2-3, a backed up bathroom sink. Finally, there was only 1 handicapped parking space near the Tower in the $50 a day self-parking lot. The other two were in the near the doors of the 3 story buildings, which were close to 100 yards from the Tower entrance. This was a feature that we truly needed. The property was pretty, but I think it wouldn't be one we would return too.

The rooms appeared to be dated needing at least a refresh, if not a renovation.

It's an amazing hotel with stunning views, great restaurants and helpful staff.

Clean room and pool. Excellent housekeeping staff. Balcony had a shoddy repair bracket on the railing which concerned me about safety. Everything is an upgrade so expect to pay extra. No outside food or drink in the pool area and the food and drinks there are expensive. Pictures on Expedia show a king patio room with a fire pit but the property does not offer in-room fire pits so I felt misled into my booking. Ocean view was quoted to me as a higher price than was quoted to my brother, who was also staying at the hotel. Overall not good transparency with pricing and accommodations, but the room and location still made for a nice vacation. Would probably stay again.

The accessibility to everything; the pool, the breakfast, the parking lot. THE BEAUTIFUL OCEAN VIEW The bathroom could’ve been a bit more clean

Room booked wasn’t available. Water fill station didn’t work. Restaurant closes at 8pm. Toilet flapper was broken. I’ll be finding an alternate property going forward.
