The staff was super friendly and helpful. We moved from an older furnished room to an updated room, which was more expensive but much nicer. The downside was the amount of homeless people around the property.

Nice area. Great for pets. Warm pool. Great view on second floor of the beach area. Nice walking trails too👍 Walking distance to sports bars in area. Will stay here again 👍👍

The hotel was horrible. Dirty rooms, unclean sheets and old rooms, with cracks and damaged structure. I would not want to stay here again.

We called the office and they took care of the ants, not to return again! Don't leave any food out in the trash! I would return again just to save money!!

Great pet friendly room! Trash was not taken out before we checked in and the beds were uncomfortable and smelled like dogs but it was convenient and close to the beach. Otherwise, great affordable room!

The whole town of Ocean Beach is extremely pet friendly. This little motel was very cute. There is a convenient pet wash station for large and small dogs for you to use fully stocked with towels. The pool was refreshing and warm. Staff are extremely friendly. Room and property are kept very clean. The only downfall were the beds were horrible. One was as hard as the tile, and the other dipped heavy in the middle. The AC was sooo loud - so if noise bothers you keep that in mind. Otherwise it’s a wonderful white noise. Not sure if I would stay again - mainly because of the beds. I’m not sure if I brought a mattress topper if it would have helped anything. My fiancé and I had a hard time sleeping thoroughly. Other wise we loved it and the town. Everything is within walking distance. There is definitely a large homeless population and can smell urine throughout the entire town as you walk.

The room was beautiful, plenty of room and clean. We had a view of the beach, which was a short walk from the hotel. We had a wonderful breakfast on the property, the breakfast burritos were outstanding. We came from the State of Washington to visit family - they made our trip amazing.

They charge for parking there was no parking

The hotel was very run down, rooms were bare, toilet didn’t flush, no soap, shower ver small, light fixtures missing in bathroom, no screen in n sliding door. No food or vending machines, no place to get water.

The pictures were 2 yrs old on the website and didn't look nothing like it is today, the place needed a new paint job, an old dresser all scratched up was the tv stand, no desk for your laptop, all the base boards need repainted. The table to eat on was a makeshift picnic table with metal chairs with no padding, speaking of metal the chairs on the patio were so rusted I wouldn't sit on them. I booked threw a 3rd party, so I didn't see in their website a 16 dollar parking fee that was the entrance and exit which wasn't so bad but you couldn't just back out and go, the spaces were angled in the wrong direction and the end was under construction and you barely had room to turn around, Motel 6 was in better shape plus costing 157 for the room I wouldn't of paid 70 for the room.

I love staying here when I take my dogs to the dog beach. Great food at the breakfast place on the premises.

The property is old and worn. Have low expectations. Definitely dog friendly.
