Really cute inn on the Sunset Cliffs. Pretty quiet area but we were on the side by the stop sign sonic you leave your windows open the traffic can be loud at night, we kept hearing motorcycles and airplanes instead of the ocean, which was a bummer, but also not the inns fault, they can’t control traffic on a Friday and Saturday, Sunday was not as bad as the other two nights as far as noise, just ask for a room on the other side if you are hoping to hear the ocean waves. The deck was really nice to sit outside and watch the sea…We enjoyed the pool, it was nice and warm. There was a basketball hoop and that was fun to play with my family. In the morning if you like to run or walk you can leave from the property and turn right and run along the sunset cliffs…we stayed on the sidewalk but nice views of ocean and pretty neighborhoods. It’s also not too far from Pacific Beach, another favorite running spot…We didn’t try t gee restaurants but there are many close by. The room itself was a 2 bedroom suite, it had a little living room and two separate bedrooms, only one bedroom had a TV, one bathroom and I thought it was nice. The couch was comfy and the shower was good. Not a lot of space to put stuff out in the bathroom by there was room in the actual bedroom so that was good. Overall, really nice visit, there is a bit time deck but there is no access to it, I’m guessing because of coastal erosion, still a nice spot to sit and watch the ocean or the sunset…we got to see one.

It was my Grandsons birthday and they were so cute and hung a Happy Birthday Banner on our door. The staff was kind and very helpful

Beautiful place

Clean rooms and perfect location

Don't take the ground floor rooms. You can hear every step. We had young children staying above us and the staff tried to have them not to jump on the floors and rolling their luggage back and forth across the floor. But we still were awaken a 5 am with the running and jumping. Not pleased.

A great stay for me at the Inn at Sunset Cliffs OB. Such a cozy place right on the ocean. I will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you Sunset Cliffs!

We really enjoyed our stay. The flowers and landscaping in the courtyard are so beautiful. The view of the ocean is great. The view of the sunset from there is next none. Such a friendly staff. You can walk to a nice little coffee shop/cafe. There is also a small convenience store across the street. The beds are very comfortable and a very clean room. Will definitely stay there again!!!

Amazing location and beach view

We stayed for 3 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The pool was an excellent amenity! The location cannot be beaten - quiet and far from city noise. We walked to the town center each night for food and drink - about a 15 minute walk through beautiful trees and homes. The sunset cliff park was a short walk and each night we watch the beautiful sunset! The bus stop across the street came in handy for exploring other sights - 30 minute ride to Balboa Park!

Excellent customer support, great view.

Small but well stocked

Parking was a little challenging and the rooms don’t have AC. Most nights it was fine, but we had one hot night and the direction of our room didn’t give us much of a breeze.
-
Super helpful and friendly staff at the front desk. Beautiful courtyard, lush with flowers. Awesome ocean view from the deck. Great location to visit San Diego and La Jolla. Steps away from the Sunset Cliffs Natural Park in Ocean Beach. Would definitely recommend to friends, family, and clients. Great stay all around.

Place was beautiful and staff was great will return soon!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The property is beautiful, the gardens are full of the most amazing smelling flowers, I have never seen a hotel like it. There are so many comfortable chairs and sofas to relax on and watch the sunset. The air conditioning was extremely effective and quiet. The room has a good sized under-counter fridge with an ice-tray compartment. There is a coffee maker, microwave, wine glasses. The bed was comfortable. I didn’t want to leave and would return in a heartbeat if even We are back in San Diego. It was the best hotel in our 4 week tour of the west coast.
