Hyatt Regency Savannah

Stay was nice. Everyone we encountered was very pleasant. Room was very clean! I would suggest parking in the public garage across the street as it was much cheaper than hotel parking.

We stayed in one of the terrace rooms. It was very nice to walk out on and view the river. The only downside to staying here is that we used Expedia to book the room. The discount was nice, but we were not allowed to add breakfast to it, and they were not accommodating about a late check-out, even though they were accommodating others. I attribute this to booking through Expedia.

Rooms are a bit smaller compared to usual hotel sizes and while we booked 2 Queens, the bed sizes were 2 Twins. Other than that everything was great ! The breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant was very good as well.

The hotel was nice, the housekeeping staff never came back the second day to clean our room despite us going to the front desk on three separate occasions to ask for our room to be cleaned and us being reassured that it would be. When they did come the following day nothing was actually cleaned. It looked as though they had somewhat made our beds and replaced some of the towels. The trash was still full, the shower didn’t look like it had been cleaned and the counters weren’t wiped off. We just were impressed with that aspect of our stay especially with us traveling with two young children. We were also unaware that breakfast was included in our stay which would have been helpful as well again, with us traveling with two young children and having to figure out breakfast outside of the hotel each day. Overall I felt like the communication and housekeeping could have been better especially for the amount of money we paid to stay there.

Great location!

It is centrally located and an easy walk to the waterfront, the parks, and the city's attractions. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. It has an attractive lobby with all the necessary services, including a computer to order your boarding pass, shops, and a coffee shop. The only down side was that breakfast costs $29, whereas most hotels offer a free breakfast. I would definitely return to this classy hotel..

Make sure you have to pay $50 a day parking

We loved staying at the Regency! The river view was terrific!

Staff were all very friendly, timely, and professional. Rooms were spacious and clean. Lobby had plenty of seating to hang out or while you wait to go to your next destination. Location was prime with easy access to the ferry and restaurants and bars in very close walking distance. I will definitely be staying here again in my next trip to Savannah!

Wonderful friendly staff, very comfy bed and perfect. Location made it a delightful stay.

We only had the cleaning staff come in once while there. The beds weren’t made nor the bathroom cleaned. Only new towels and trash taken care of. First night a fire alarm was going off after midnight. The person speaking was extremely muffled when explaining the situation so we weren’t sure if we should evacuate or not. Had breakfast our last morning and there was hair on my plate. Had to send it back. Food in the restaurant wasn’t very good. Overall our stay was fine.

Our room was on the terrace level. The sliding glass door to that area from our room wasn't very secure. The latch didn't work, and the safety hook was mounted to a piece of trim that can easily be pulled off. The shower didn't drain, so the tub would fill up. The staff was all very nice! The restaurant on-premises was very good! They use real avocado on the toast!
