Our room at the Hotel Sorrento was beautiful. The staff was always friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. The hotel was located walking distance to the stadium and downtown. Down hill the entire way. Up hill back 😉. First time in Seattle!! would stay here again!

Unfortunately, this is where my compliments end. The hallways smelled weird and there are no ice machines. I had to go to the lobby to ask concierge for it each time. The AC was replaced with a very loud portable unit. I was offered a new room but was told that all the rooms have the same portable units. There was blue residue in the bathroom sink that was off-putting and the amenities were bare minimum.

Staff was super kind and helpful. Very cute hotel walking distance to food and area for uber pickups. We didn’t take advantage of patio area for drinks, but it looked super cute. Shoot out to Chloe for her kindness!

Historic hotel, easy access /walkable to downtown and Capitol Hill. The hotel has wonderful space, clean, well appointed rooms and a lot of interesting things to do in the hotel as well (jazz, silent reading room with live piano), food is great and so are the cocktails.

Very clean room with a view, comfortable bed and air conditioning. The restaurant and bar is excellent. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and happy hour and dinner. All menus are fantastic. Will definitely stay again.

Characterful and beautiful hotel. Be prepared to taxi - it’s a steep hill from the light rail!

This is an old hotel. As such, it lacks things like central ac and heating. There was a portable air conditioner in the room that required venting out the window, which required the window to stay open. This allowed all the outside noise to enter the room. There is only one guest elevator. It is very small and slow. They request that only 3 people ride at a time. So allow plenty of time to move in between floors. They have a very cozy lounge with very comfortable furnishings. If you're short on cash, housekeeping provides a QR code in the room so you can leave your gratuity. Interpret that as you wish.

Beautiful historic property with kind staff

What a beautiful hotel. Staff was great and loved the valet. Only downside is that the hotel is next to a hospital and there were lots of sirens throughout the night. Absolutely nothing the hotel can prevent but should be noted it’s not very quiet

Clean Room

I’ve already written a bunch of comments directly to the hotel. We had to have three rooms before everything was not broken in the rooms we were assigned. For suites! The only suite that actually worked for us had a queen bed instead of a king… So we did not get what we paid for. The entire experience was frustrating, all the staff was very nice, they just could not overcome the deficits in the building. The building is not charming in old, it is old. You can hear every creek from every side, the air-conditioning does not work, the floors are uneven underneath the carpet they’ve laid over them, things are just in disrepair. It’s unfortunate, but we will never stay here again.

Great location. Nice staff. Clean. Quiet.

Great stay. Definitely reminds us of a quaint little Italian hotel. Very friendly staff, great ambiance and good location. Older building, but would definitely stay here again. Food in the restaurant, as well as drinks, were great.

Great location for my husbands surgery at Virginia Mason. Only stayed 2 nights and was told, after spending the whole day and most of the night at the hospital that they clean the rooms every other day. Since only there for 2 days, that benefited me ZERO. Still paid full price though.
