Close proximity to the Lincoln Library and museum. 1st room they gave us was dirty, hot and the faucet was broken in the bathroom. Water was all over the counter and floor.
-
No closets and garment rack only had 1 hanger. Toilet didn't flush well and garbage cans were tiny. A bit dated, but beds were comfortable.

Parking is outdoors and free.

I like that on the 2nd night. I was upgraded to a king suite for $25.00 dollar. It was very nice. I did not like that the hotel charge guest credit cards a rate of $250.00 if you lived in town. I think the hotel made alot if assumption that people living in town are the ones likely to have parties. When asked a hotel staff why they charge the credit card so much they said because I lived in Town. The hotel attendant said management have found that the people getting hotel that lived in town typically get hotel to have parties. I am a 59 year old woman that not interested in doing things like that. Additionally, I stayed there this past weekend due to having Raccoons in my home and needed a place to stay until the Raccoons situation were under control. Management did whinned up only charging and or putting a hold on my credit card for $50.00 Instead of the $250.00. I was very thankful for that.

It's a work in progress. Staff and management were great and helped navigate the fumbles.

Wonderful Stay

I got a fridge this time and that was nice but it’s usually a good hotel to stay at There’s a bit of wear and tear in the rooms but that happens over time with so many people in and out.

Parking was easy . Due to circumstances arrived early but was able to check into the room. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, a/c worked great and breakfast was good.

I had arrived early after a terrible experience at another hotel and the staff were SO NICE and the property was very nice. Decent breakfast and nice lounging areas. Nice view. Many things in walking distance including Dumb Records and Prairie Archives as well as capitol attractions. Absolutely recommend this hotel if you’re spending time in Springfield.

Comfortable room, good air conditioning.

Room wasn't clean. Air vents needed to be cleaned. Toilet seat hinge was missing revealing yellow stain.

Hotel rooms were good. Seemed to be updated. Our first room AC didn’t work but the staff switched us immediately. Floor 7 reeked of marijuana. Heard talking all night in room next door until 5am. Breakfast started at 7am on Sunday. We had somewhere to be at 7 and went down and no coffee or anything available at 6:45am. Overall an ok stay.

I liked how clean the room was.

Disappointing

No house service was offered as they do it on demand. Old times are dead when house cleaning was available every day for every hotel. Now rates are higher but no house cleaning anymore. Staff was attentive and did provide whatever needed. Breakfast is available and basic with eggs, meat and juices. Overall decent property and will likely choose it again. Parking is plenty and free.

While the bed was comfortable and the room was clean, the bathroom is odd - toddler low toilet and vet high sink counter. The gym is in the farthest dark hallway of the basement and was very musty with flooring curling up. It didn’t feel very safe. The breakfast was maintained well by the cook but the room is very dark.
