First time staying at this particular Hampton Inn and we stayed for two nights. The hotel has recently been renovated, mostly. Our room was clean and quiet with comfortable beds. My only complaint was the bathroom. There was not a single towel rack, or even a hook, in the bathroom to hang a towel. The tub had not been recently replaced, but it was clean. Water pressure sucked for both the sink and shower and there were water stains with peeling paint on the ceiling. Overall we had a good stay and will be back on our next trip through DSM.

The maid staff did an excellent job cleaning and picking up our room every day. Morning breakfast was good and plentiful. We stay at this hotel when we visit Des Moines. The property has just been updated and the outdoor area was being finished as we were there two days.

Check-in was definitely not up to par. I was with my almost 80 year old mother which I explained and our rooms were on complete end of the hallways as well as her room was not accessible also on 5th floor not conducive with walker. Did not receive the waters until checkout.

Location, amenities, value, comfort. Water took quite a while to get hot, need some hooks in the bathroom for towels and apparel, need more fresh fruit options for breakfast.

Lack of room to room insulation. Our neighbors were loud!

Had the do not disturb sign up and it was 9:30 am with an 11 O Clock check out. Cleaning staff didn’t knock and just entered completely ignoring the sign.
