Hampton Inn Des Moines-Airport

Terrible service when checking in & mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Seems like a very old facility & would definitely not recommend.

Major water leak in the ceiling bathroom. Called the front desk. They said they’d be up, after 15 minutes later I went down to see what the deal was. They said it’s been hectic and moved us to another room. No apology, nothing.

Was able to get a room at the last minute and arrived to a clean, friendly and well run establishment. Only issue wss that the room was so small that my family, our luggage and the queen beds were kind of cramped. But the bed was comfortable, bath clean, and all the plugs and electronics worked well

The only that I liked about the hotel was that the bed was comfortable. The rooms had that damp moldy smell to them. The pictures were misleading from the website. They need to update the rooms. The bathroom had dirty tile and there was someone’s fingernail still in the floor. I won’t stay here again and I will not recommend this hotel to any friends. The staff were great and friendly tho.

Very clean room, good water pressure in shower, bed was very comfortable. Very close to the airport and they do offer 24-hour shuttle service. Has restaurant close to the property. If I need to fly out of the Des Moines airport in the future I will choose to stay at this hotel.

Good place for stay, breakfast could have been better.

Traveling with 3 dogs and 2 cats 2 adults and one child while moving. Need a pit stop to get good sleep. Bed were comfortable and breakfast bar was amazing. Red velvet waffles, Denver omletes, southwest potatoes, and grilled kielbasa. When I need to stop in Des Moines again this will be my favorite hotel. Close to airport also.

This Hampton Inn staff is always warm and welcoming. They are so good that it has caused me to stay at Hampton Inns in other places!

Excellent staff - very personable and helpful.

Price when we first got there and checked into our room, there were stains all over our sheets. None of the lamps worked properly spoke with the worker, and she said that she would take care of it left for six hours and came back, and no one had even entered our room. She said that there’s nothing she could do to change rooms went and talk to another worker(6 hours) after that and was able to get a new room. julia was no help

We used the park and fly. Very convenient and the drivers were very friendly and prompt. Our rooms was very clean.
