Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in Times Square. The rooms are quite small and can feel cramped, but that’s fairly typical for Manhattan hotels. We were hosting friends visiting from out of state and spent most of our time exploring the city, so the hotel worked perfectly for our needs. Overall, a solid stay if location is your priority.

There’s a lot of construction going on in and around the lobby making it difficult to get to the elevators at times. Otherwise we had a clean and quiet room and the breakfast was pretty good. Location is great.

The Hampton Inn is like most other hotels in Times Square. The room did include a small fridge and microwave, which many do not. Also, the free breakfast buffet was a good start to each day. As for location, it is a short walk to the heart of Times Square and about ten minutes from Central Park. Overall, it is ideal for a short trip to Manhattan.

Room was great, but the washroom had a leak from the shower and water falling into the shower from the top and no proper response when complained about this during checkout.

This hotel is not as advertised. The rooms are very tiny and everyone has to walk sideways. Home2Suites were oversold so the over flow went to Hampton Inn. Unfortunately to get a spacious room you have to need an accesible room. The elevators took almost an hour to come although there were about 5 elevators. And the hotel is under construction.

After reading so many bad reviews about this hotel before our trip, we even thought about cancelling, but I’m glad we didn’t. The location is fantastic, everything is within walking distance, including Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central, Bryant Park, and more. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic, but enough to start the day. Yes, it was busy, but we always managed to find a free table. The elevator system was not as bad as we had read either, during the whole week, we only had to wait more than 5 minutes for the elevator once.

Loved that it was in Time Square, so close to many great places in NYC! You can also go to the rooftop, which is a neat experience too!

Only bad thing is the elevators in the morning hours for breakfast. Other than that all was great, great place to stay!
