The hotel is very strict about letting extra people into the room, and I really appreciated that; there were some unsavory characters insisting on getting in, but the gentleman didn't let them pass—I'm very grateful for that! The room is a little bit small

The location was very good. I also liked that it was a small hotel. A heads up was needed about construction next door that began at 8:00 a.m. I was on the 3rd Floor and one morning my room shook because of a jackhammer being used. Notices in the building were posted.

The location.. The guy named Luis or something at the front desk..should not be at service business, does not how to behave and talk to hotel guests..rude and ignorant..

Great location near theatres and the Ferry Piers, very clean and the room had all the basics that one would need. Also very safe for a single traveller. I loved my room with a view of the "city" which is larger than the others but I am also partially deaf, so one might need ear plugs for the street noise of the city. Filtered water was also provided which was really nice, too hot at the time of my visit for the free coffee, tea and hot chocolate provided. I would highly recommend an illustrated sheet on how to use the room safe in each room by the safe - it would not be hard with pictures and would save a lot of time.

The rooms were clean, and the location was good for me The hotel has some antiquated policies about how every guest who visits you in the hotel must show photo ID in order to be allowed up into your room. They wouldn’t even accept pictures of photo ID. They had to have the hard copy original and they seem to have no understanding that not everyone walks around with their actual ID and some people are even afraid to because of the state of affairs around us. The hotel staff was unyielding and as a result I was not able to enjoy my time in the hotel with my friends as I had hoped and had to spend more time away from the hotel than I would have liked. They were actually quite rude, and I got the impression that this is something they continually deal with because they were automatically defensive and rude about it. All this to say, I will never stay at this hotel again nor with any hotel that is a part of this larger brand. I paid for the hotel room and I should be able to have my friends visit me in there. I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world and I’ve never experienced a policy like this.

Exceptional

Centrally located, but not on a super busy street. Building and construction noise from 8am. Tiny elevator, which you were sharing with builders. Rooms definitely not noise proof

Location if geat Grace and Simone at reception were the only decent warm and friendly staff. Quite alot I didnt like Dated dirty but in a good location This property is old tired rundown and in serious need of a full upgrade. The common areas are not clean. The stairs to the 2nd a s 3rd floors were filthy. Our first room was Dangerous and I actually hurt my feet several times. Sticky tape in many spots on the floorboards that are lifting up. I reported it the very first morning and was told yeah we know and maintenance know. I assumed it would be fixed that day. It wasn't and I waited patiently until the next day still not fixed . A dangerous trip hazard. Grace was fabulous abd did he best and we moved rooms. This room still has a small floor issue as well but at least it wasn't dangerous. Shower tiles so old and dirty needs a strong brush and so mould solution and a good scrub. No slippers no robes Not even a kettle in the room ( they do provide a hot urn with coffee in the lobby ) but who wants to trape down to a lobby for a basic cup of coffee.
