Great experience

Great place. Very clean. Staff very professional and friendly. Stephanie at the front desk made our stay loveable.

Everything was as good or better than we expected. We are Hampton Inn regulars. I was very disappointed that I had to pay an additional $14 a day for parking. I may use a different Hampton Inn on my next trip to Charleston because of that or maybe a differen hotel, like the one across the street that doesn't charge for parking.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Our room was clean. That we had to pay for parking after paying to stay in hotel.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, consistent with other Hampton Inn and Suites. The air conditioner and ice machine on the second floor were obnoxiously loud. The staff seemed disinterested when another guest complained to the front desk. Staff also seemed exasperated and "put out" when I requested late check out. Finally, I selected this specific hotel as I was hosting out of country guests on a summer trip and they asked for a hotel with a pool. The hotel website specifically advertises a pool, however, the pool had been shut down by the Department of Environmental Protection. Staff at the front desk explained unsympatheticly that the pool had just failed inspection. Staff once again seemed disinterested that the advertised pool was closed indefinitely during peak tourism season in the summer. Very disappointing for a Hilton owned chain hotel that has been consistently above standards in other locations.

The property was basically clean. New carpets would be good. Paying for parking was outrageous. Parking should be free

The room was very clean and over all excellent!

There was a string coming from under my door in the hallway when I arrived. The hot water didn't work in the shower. I could see the mattress on one of the beds wasn't made up well.

We had our dog with us and they did have poop cans around the property but the one in the front looks like it has never been emptied. It was disgusting to even lift the lid. The breakfast was decent but it wasn’t what most Hampton Inns usually provide. It was fine for us.
