Travelodge by Wyndham Seattle By The Space Needle

Front staff was unkind- she told me to put my card in the machine but wouldn’t tell why. I asked a couple times before she said it was a deposit and then I asked a couple of times more for the amount before she would tell me. Then when I checked out, she just took the keys and said nothing. We then woke up in the morning to ants everywhere…all over the counters and in the bags! Luckily we were only staying one night. If it was longer, I would have left and have been asking for a refund!

Staff is wonderful. You can hear everything around you. We had someone above us that sounded like they were moving and dropping things until about 1am.

Ok hotel been to better been to worse ok on a budget

This property is very old. Needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Mattress not flat, your feet elevated at 30 degrees. Rooms dark and dingy. Toilet very small and can't sit on it like normal. Shower needs serious work so small you can only stand and turn around. I'm 5'6" 150 lbs. Must wear flip flops since shower floor was sticky. Moved to another room mattress was flat but room still had same problems as other. Small frig making weird noises all through the night. I travel a lot for work and pleasure. This is second to worst place I have ever stayed. Don't Waste Your Money!

This hotel was close to the space needle and even the public market. We literally just walked everywhere from the hotel. Everything was good- clean and the staff was helpful but It will be nice if the coffee was hot by the lobby. Maybe just check it once in a while.

Location - close walk to restaurants and the Space Needle and Chihuly Glass museum. It is very dated, more 70s era, and not particularly cheap.

While this is definitely the cheapest hotel in the area near the space needle complex for families, it is definitely run down and problematic. When we got in, one of the lightbulbs was out, the room seemed in general disrepair and the shower and sink ran only cold water. I reported this and they fixed it before our stay ended, but when I told the desk that there was no hot water in the room and my family couldn't have baths or showers, the desk person shrugged their shoulders and said, "yes, it's an old hotel. It happens a lot." The pool was also out of service when we went (though I think this was seasonal), and the grounds were generally awful - there was human feces in the parking lot, and homeless were in the alley yelling during the night under our window. Again, very walkable and a useful location for the Museum, Science Centre, Kraken and Space Needle, but the building needs a revamp and just generally more pride in the building itself. If you're on a budget and for a short stay it will do in a pinch.
