West Des Moines Marriott

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Room was nice and clean and the front desk staff was very friendly

Conveniently located just off I80 and conveniently located close to the mall where you will find a variety of restaurants and shops. This property is very popular so it would behoove travelers to make plans to stay here well in advance.

No breakfast for $200+ room?

Wonderful staff and very clean hotel

I had to cancel because it was the wrong dates and I cancelled and tried to re book but they were full.. booking.combated to make an exception and refund me.. I emailed several times to you and so did booking. Com no response… I called no one answered .. I gave up…. Not happy at all… wow I usually stayed here with my mom everytime we stayed in Des Moines… you all are slipping in customer service even the hotel next to you… I stood there a good 5-7 minutes before I was checked in.. he was on the computer .. he could have said I will be with you in just a few minutes..

Our room smelled moldy. There was visible damage near the window frame due to water intrusion. Otherwise, it was clean and the staff was wonderful.

Elevator was broken and they couldn’t figure out to let people use the service elevator as well. Nothing but lines to wait for the one working elevator.

They told me breakfast was going to be included with my room. I got there and they told me no I need it to be a gold member and my fridge in my room was not working so a very kind lady brought me a new one to the room.

Rooms were clean, staff was kind and helpful, location was great!

Amazing

My husband and I weren’t in the room much but the room was nice and clean and the location wasn’t bad. We were there for a live podcast show and the hotel wasn’t far from the venue. There were nice gas station and food options nearby on our way out the next morning too. I think the room is a bit pricey for what you get. I could hear the person up above us stomping around all night, breakfast wasn’t included and for the price we paid for the room, I believe it should be. I could also hear the elevator every single time too.

I liked being on a high floor without asking to be, I loved the shower it was nice and clean with nice water pressure. I liked the appearance of the place, and it smelled nice. Staff were helpful and friendly. I guess a hot tub in the pool room would be awesome just because I was a bit cold in the pool. Mostly didn't like the smell coming from the bathroom sink. I know that's hard to keep up on, but you asked.
