Amazing hotel!!! Best I have stayed and I’m very picky !!
-
Super easy check in on the 2nd floor, staff was all amazing. I saw a bad review about the small rooms but honestly it was perfect for myself and my boyfriend we loved the room it was so vintage and beautiful and clean. we were only there to sleep so the size doesn’t matter. the bed was comfy, shower was big and easy walking to everywhere. Really no complaints

Wasn’t clean at all and smelled awful

Good

Hairs in my bed, long black hairs in my shower. My kids room smelled damp and only after a lot of complaining did we get a different room. Won't go back there location
-
The room was huge and the king size bed was comfortable. The whole hotel was very clean. There was only noises from outside (normal city noise) and the pipes made some noise but it wasn’t bad. The location was PERFECT. walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Chicago.

This hotel was located close to everything. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were small but very nice. It is a beautiful hotel with great charm! We would definitely stay here again!

Centrally Located Better Guidance for Public transport

Clean room, helpful staff, the room was a lot larger than I anticipated. Also, the hotel was conveniently located to everything that I planned during my stay which was a plus!
-
Room was clean, staff very friendly. Only criticism is that lobby is on second floor and there are no stairs leading to long lines for elevator. Overall a great stay!
-
Great room! Lots of space and clean.
-
Parking valet was great but at peak times very busy. I had a 2 queen bed room and with two people it was kinda of cramped. The staff were very nice.
-
Convenience of location, the room was clean and nice We really did not like anything. We wish we could have stayed longer!
-
It was very dated and cramped, but it was clean and the service was great. Perfect location.

Check in was prompt and the room was very clean.

Our room was very disappointing. Peeling wallpaper, large dark stains on carpet, poorly maintained amenities, and a mini-fridge so poorly installed the door barely opened. The ironing board cover was ripped and stained. Most concerning was a spider infestation. We counted at least ten spiders crawling on bathroom and bedroom windows throughout the week—a recurring issue, not isolated. The hallways reeked of stale cigarette smoke despite being marketed smoke-free. Hallway carpets were heavily stained and elevators were covered in dirt, smudges, and fingerprints, suggesting routine cleaning was infrequent or ineffective. The fitness center was equally poor. Accessing it required climbing a dark, dingy staircase that felt like a boiler-room area. Equipment was in terrible condition with torn vinyl upholstery and broken adjustment pins on weight machines, making them unsafe to use. These issues reflect a consistent pattern of neglect throughout the property. The hotel's condition bears no resemblance to reasonable accommodation standards. I strongly advise travelers to consider alternative lodging until substantial renovations and deep cleaning are completed.
