The 9 is a decent hotel, but it feels a bit rundown for the price. Centro wasn't particularly impressive either. However, the staff and Valet provided excellent service, which made up for many of the hotel's other shortcomings. The Vault was closed on Saturday, and the rooftop was reserved for a private event. It would have been helpful to know about these closures when we checked in on Friday so we could plan accordingly. They had one elevetor running so soemtimes you would wait 15 minutes to get to and from your room. My rating reflects the price point and the level of experience I expect for a hotel in this category. see above.

Repeat stays. Perfect for Guardians games

The dirt bikes and 4 wheelers that did laps around downtown Cleveland all night made it so we didnt sleep at all and I requested the large deep tub that was displayed in the pictures on the listing and the room we received had a small standard tub in it. Not worth the money.

Location First, when I looked at parking options the Booking said to call or text but the number went no where. I had to dig to find out I had to get parking on my own. Second, when we got to the room there was hair bands and hair on the floor and overall dusty floor. The sofa looked like someone has exfoliated while sitting on it and it really needed a vacuuming. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone up. I later texted with the same staff person at the front desk and relayed the request. About 90 minutes later I received a text that the room has been refreshed however when we arrived at the room nothing had been done. The same hair bands and hair on the floor. I called again and someone was sent up with a spray bottle and flat pad. She picked up the hair bands and sprayed and wiped the floor. What was really needed was a vacuum or floor dusting mop and then wet mop as the baseboards and perimeter had a collection of dust. The garbage container, while did have a liner, had water damage.

The hotel’s location is unbeatable — central, walkable, and right in the heart of Cleveland. The room was spotless, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the spacious bathroom had all the premium touches.

Nice clean property. Loved the vault bar and the coffee available in the morning.

Got to the hotel and my room was gone. I got a bull crap excuse stating since I booked so close to the day unfortunately my room was gone. Not to mention they were full. I booked the double queen suite. Got pushed across the street to a basic double queen . Yes they refunded a majority of the money. Money doesn't make the experience.

I had a peaceful stay. How often do you clean the floors? The floor was a little gritty other than that.. wonderful place to experience!

Unfortunately our room was dirty. Lint / dust on the coffee tray, sugar spilled all over it as well. Bathtub was dirty and had hair in it. Our coffee lids were dirty as well. The manager did take care of the issue promptly.

The gym was amazing. Best hotel gym I've ever used and I would highly recommend. The staff were truly exceptional. I just don't know why they'd let the room actually smell bad. As long as we kept the door closed it wasn't a massive problem but at least once I caught a whiff of lingering pee smell. Sort of disappointed for an otherwise very expensive room. I made sure to remove all the linens and pillow cases in an effort to save the next guest some time / comfort that the bedding was changed. Just sort of weird. If the bathroom didn't smell like pee it would have otherwise been a mostly wonderful, albeit expensive, hotel stay.
