Studio 6 - East Syracuse, NY – Airport

The price. I've complained about the very slippery that I almost fell several times. It's very dangerous. The roaming guest made it difficult to relax. Then the 8am house cleaning across the hall didn't allow rest. I've been on the road since 2am stopped working at 9pm.

Staff was great and helpful. The actual room was terrible and dirty. I don't think it was really the staff's fault. Management needs to get their act together and they need to hire better housekeeping, or hire housekeeping period. There were giant roaches (?) in my room. I wasn't expecting much for a Studio 6—I am no stranger to a motel—but this is abysmal. Don't book here.

Totally scary. It's an old smelly Motel 6. The lobby is terrible and everything including the non-smoking room smells like an ash tray. We left after the first night and found a different hotel.

Fridge was broken and smelled. "I was here" was written on the wall in black marker. Screens were broken, tub sink dripped all night and the room smelled like mold. Staff was kind but the building and grounds were terrible.

Check-in was long due to room sellout. Staff explained the reasoning. Seemed to be alone at property. We needed additional Laundry for shower. Attendant at front desk gave us 1 additional towel. Thank you. When asked if shampoo and maybe conditioner there wasn't any. We did have a small bar of wrapped soap. Beds were clean. TV remote needed new batteries that were obtained from another visit at the front desk. The fridge worked. Checkout was at 11 am. Sleep was fast. Outside Noise wasn't a issue. Only Ice machine was on ground floor near front desk. Plenty of Hot water. Bathroom was clean.

Staff was not that helpful, we had to mop the room ourselves. No tissue paper and tv was not good at all.

Location was good. Even though this was booked many months ago for a college graduation, there was some sort of issue with the Booking reservation. We almost did not have a room, the desk clerk was able to secure a room and a price adjustment to the original price. Under the circumstances we were grateful to just have a room. Motel was extremely dirty and no effort was made to clean or disinfect. We were only able to get a smoking room, after 2 nights there us and everything we owned smelled of stale smoke. Bed and pillows were uncomfortable, bathroom was dirty, tub was disgusting. Most outlets did not work and /or had no cover plate. Other guests were loud.

The night time front desk guy is a very nice man someone tried entering our room at 10:45 in the morning when check out is at 11 AM and my boyfriend and I were getting dressed and showering. No one knocked just completely tried entering the room without warning annd yelled ant someone to get them a key to our room until my boyfriend yelled at them that we’re in here and check out is 11. Went to complain and there was no one at the desk

Pet friendly, but rooms were dirty, bathroom was dirty and still had hair from previous tenants, tub wouldn't drain, beds had stuff in them. We were here for a couple weeks so we bought a Swiffer and our own sheets. Housekeeping didn't come in once in the two weeks we were there, not to empty trash or refill toilet paper. We rented the room, and that's the max of what you got.

Room was clean and comfortable. Price was a good value.

The "hardware" (bed, no carpet flooring, HVAC, bathroom) was fine, but the "software" (sheets, blankets, etc.) was horrible. The sheets were seriously undersized for the bed. Sheets did not fit the bed. The top sheet and blanket was sized for a twin, while the bed was a queen. There was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom. The blanket was also too thin and there were no extra sheets or blankets in the room.
